Clera's Distribution Company was created in 2017, with a goal to bring back jobs to the City of Detroit for disadvantaged and abused women of color.


I was born in Nashville in a family of 12 siblings. Christmas and Birthdays were always a special time for us. Although we didn't get a lot, we cherished what we got.


At the age of nine years old God called my mother Clera home.

All we were left with were our memories, which is why I decided to name this company after my mother as a way of keeping her memory alive.

When shopping in various retail outlets I discovered that people of color are not equally represented on store shelves.
I made the decision to create products that do represent people of color such as multicultural gift wrapping paper and gift bags to celebrate life's special moments.
